Select the pot or container at least 12-inch in diameter with the drainage hole for aeration. Prefer the clay container for better growth of seeds or vegetables. Now select the propagating media or soil having compost and vermicompost for seed sowing moistened the soil or media sow seed inside and put it in normal sunlight area.

Seedlings sprout within six to eight weeks indoors and then transplant the seedling in big containers or garden areas where you want to grow kale. Apply fertilizer and irrigation application according to the requirements given above in the table.
